Karla oversees the big picture at Paradigm as the president and CEO, providing the strategic vision that has guided the company since she founded the company in 1990. A big part of Paradigm’s value proposition comes from its ability to give each project the attention it needs and deserves and Karla is an integral part of this process, whether she's managing a project herself or acting in a quality-control capacity. She brings 28 years of construction experience to bear on every job that Paradigm tackles.
Under Karla’s stewardship, Paradigm has consistently been among the top women-owned businesses in the San Francisco Bay Area. The San Francisco Business Times ranked Paradigm as the 13th-largest woman-owned business in 2015.
Karla's practical experience is built upon a foundation of academic achievement and excellence. She holds bachelor's degrees construction management and architectural studies from Washington State University, Pullman, Wash.
